I teach people and dogs how to understand each other.
As a trainer and behavioral consultant, my goal is to help you and your dog build the best relationship you can.
Whether your goal is to start your new puppy off on the right paw, teach your adult dog some basic manners, or address a serious behavioral issue, the foundation is the same.
In training I use positive reinforcement, and the things that most motivate your dog to help him choose reward-earning behaviors. When he learns that "sit" earns him a cookie, he'll sit for everything!
When it comes to behavioral issues, such as aggression, fear of strangers or other dogs (or even inanimate objects!), house training, incessant barking, chewing or digging, or any other behavioral issue you have, we use the same basic approach to build a positive association with the desired result.
